    Scott Cunningham

I'm reading "Wicca, A Guide For The Solitary Practitioner" by Scott Cunningham for the third time. And I am struck by how Scott was able to put into words my beliefs as a simple practicing witch. He truly had a gift and it's unfortunate that he is no longer with us. May his voice be heard for generations to come!

I was also struck by the simplicity and strength of what he wrote. I read a lot of Wicca books that left me feeling flat or they just rubbed me wrong, but I read his books and felt like I really understood the journey ahead of me.

    He was a treasure.

I agree, Scott's writing is something special. I don't always agree with him, but he writes particularly humbly, just like one person talking to another. You often find writers who write like a teacher to a young student, or who write almost patronisingly, but Cunningham has none of that, especially in "Living Wicca". There's no sense of arrogance there. It really is like an equal speaking to an equal. Humble. That's why I like him.
