Although the changes that are going on in my life are good, the growing pains are definitely not pleasant. In order to terminate a toxic partnership I had to give up some creature comforts such as a car and computer. I must now rely on the bus system for a short time, and I'm having to use a library computer. It just goes to show you how spoiled most of us are! I don't consider myself to be much of a consumer, but I do consider a car and computer necessary. At least I was able to replace the tv without too much time passing. :-)
Promises of Spring
It's been such a wonderful week weather-wise. It's a promise of spring. I so look forward to my daily walks because I have so many beautiful locations to choose from...the Dungeness Spit, the bluffs overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Marilyn Nelson Park beach, Carrie Blake Park, Railroad Bridge Park, Robin Hill Farm Park, and these are just the beginning. I am so fortunate to live in such a beautiful place. Thank you Goddess!
The River
I took my walk at the Dungeness river this morning. I listened to the rushing water and two ravens in the trees overhead talking to eachother. I spoke to the river and poured out my heart to her, so that she could take my problems and rush them to the sea. She is a good listener, my river. Thank you Mother river for being there for me.
Announcement
Announcement: I am in love with a wonderful woman named Laura. She is a juicy crone in the third phase of her life just as I am. We plan to grow old together. It feels as if my whole life was in preparation for this moment. This is the best time of my life!
Happy Birthday to me!
Today is my 49th birthday. I'm entering my 50th year on Mother Earth and I'm feeling the influences of the Crone. I love it!
